Why does my phone show 'SIM not provisioned'?

Edited

Hey there! At Infimobile, we know how frustrating it can be to see a message like “SIM not provisioned” on your phone. But don’t worry—it’s a common issue and usually very easy to fix.

Let us walk you through what it means and how to solve it quickly.

📱 What Does ‘SIM Not Provisioned’ Mean?

This simply means that your SIM card isn’t ready to connect to our mobile network yet. Your phone can detect the SIM, but it hasn’t been fully activated or linked to your Infimobile account.

🔍 Why You Might Be Seeing This

Here are the most common reasons:

  • You just received a new SIM but it hasn’t been activated yet

  • 🔁 You recently requested a number change or SIM swap, and the activation is still processing

  • ⚠️ The SIM card is damaged or not inserted properly

  • 🧾 Your SIM isn’t linked to your Infimobile account

  • 🛠️ There may be a temporary issue on our end (but don’t worry, we’re on it!)

How to Fix It

Let’s get you connected! Try these quick steps:

1. Restart your phone

Sometimes a simple restart helps your phone reconnect to the network.

2. Reinsert your SIM

Power off your phone, remove the SIM card, check for dust or damage, then place it back in securely.

3. Wait a little

If you just activated a new SIM or requested a number transfer, it may take a few hours to fully go live.

4. Still stuck? We’re here to help

If the issue continues, we’re happy to take a look and make sure everything’s provisioned correctly on our end.
