How do I fix MMS issues (can’t send or receive pictures)?
If you’re facing issues sending or receiving MMS messages on your Android device using the Verizon network with Infimobile, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem.
Step 1: Restart Device & Check SIM (Physical SIM Users)
Remove SIM: If using a physical SIM, take it out, restart your device, and reinsert the SIM securely.
Test MMS: Check if MMS works after restarting.
If the issue continues, move to Step Step 2.
Step 2: Configure APN Settings
Update your APN settings to ensure proper MMS functionality:
Verizon MMS APN Settings:
Name: Verizon CBS
APN: VZNWAPP
Proxy: Not set
Port: Not set
Username: Not set
Password: Not set
Server: Not set
Multimedia Message Proxy: Not set
Multimedia Message Port: Not set
MCC: 311
MNC: 480
Authentication Type: Not set
APN Type: cbs.mms
APN Protocol: IPv4/IPv6
APN Roaming Protocol: IPv4
Bearer: Unspecified
Mobile Virtual Network Operator Type: GID
Mobile Virtual Network Operator Value: BA01660000000000
After updating, restart your device and test MMS. If it still doesn’t work, proceed to Step 3.
Step 3: Further Troubleshooting
Enable Mobile Data: Ensure mobile data is turned on, as MMS requires it.
Reset Network Settings: Go to Settings > System > Reset Options > Reset Network Settings (note: this clears saved Wi-Fi passwords).
Update Software: Check for and install any available device software updates.
Test with Another Device: Insert your SIM into a different device to see if MMS works.
