Can I deactivate my eSIM and get a standard SIM instead?
Yes, Infimobile offers a straightforward way to deactivate your eSIM and switch to a standard physical SIM card. This guide details the process of disabling your eSIM and ordering a traditional SIM, perfect for those needing a physical card for device compatibility or other preferences. Discover how to make the switch seamlessly while keeping your Infimobile service active and uninterrupted.
Step 1 : Log in to your Infimobile account .
Step 2 : Go to the SIM Replacement section and select eSIM to pSIM.
Step 3 : Complete the 2FA verification by confirming your email, SMS, and security questions.
Click on the email to receive an OTP in your mail/ click on the SMS to receive an OTP to your mobile number
Validate the OTP.
Proceed to the security questions and provide your answers
After completing the 2FA verification via email/ SMS, and security questions, simply click on "Continue" to proceed with the SIM swap process.
Step 4 : If you're switching to a new device, please select “Yes, I’m switching to a new device” , If you’re continuing with your current device, choose “No, I’m using the same device.”
If you’ve selected "New Device" or " Same Device ", please enter the IMEI number of your the device to verify its compatibility with our network. The device must also support physical SIM (pSIM) functionality.
If you don’t have a SIM card, choose "No, I don’t have a replacement card." If you do have one, selec,t "Yes, I have a replacement card."
Step 5: To get a replacement card, please follow these instructions.
Once you choose "No, I don’t have a replacement SIM," you'll be taken to the next step to provide your shipping and billing details for the order.
Shipping Address :
Select a shipping address, or enter a new one if it’s not already saved.
Select a Shipping Method :
Pick your preferred shipping option. Please note that delivery time and charges may vary:First Class Mail (1-5 days) - $4.57
Priority Mail (2-3 days) - $8.75
Priority Mail Express(1-2 days) $27.20
Select Payment Method:
Choose a payment method to complete the purchase of your replacement SIM.Enter your card details and ZIP code to complete the payment and place your orderOnce you've entered your billing address details and completed the payment, click 'Order SIM Card' to proceed.
The replacement SIM order will be placed successfully, and you’ll receive an order ID for tracking . Once you receive the replacement SIM card, you can activate it in either the same device or a different one, depending on compatibility.
Step 6 : After receiving your replacement SIM card, please follow steps 1 through 4 and select "Yes, I have a replacement SIM" when asked if you have a replacement order.
Step 7 : Please provide the sim card details—ICCID and activation code—and complete the billing address section and click on "Change sim card ".
This process allows you to switch out your eSIM and activate a new physical SIM card.
Once the physical SIM is activated, the eSIM will be automatically deactivated.
